The Macedonia United Methodist Church family will host its Annual Revival and Homecoming August 28-30. The revival will be at 7:30 P.M. with guest speaker Rev. Derick Walker, pastor of Shady Grove Baptist Church, Diana. Homecoming is September 1 at 2:30 P.M. with guest speaker Rev. Chris Holt, pastor of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Jefferson.
Jackson Area Resource Service Bake Sale Saturday, August 31
Don’t miss the wide variety of homemade goodies for sale on Saturday, August 31. From 8 A.M. til 1 P.M., members of this community organization will have all kinds of baked treats as well as craft and gift items for sale. Held at Brushy Landing, at the intersection of Hwy 726 and 3001 at the south end of Lake O’ Pines dam, stop by to add some special desserts to your Labor Day gatherings.

When the Opera House Theatre Players hold their annual YNOT Awards dinner, it will be the first time that two professional musicians/singers/songwriters from Jefferson and Marion County will be recognized for their accomplishments and talent. Roy Theodore Hawkins and Miss Sarah Hobbs will be honored.
