Each month, a Jefferson High School student is chosen as the Rotary Club Student of the Month, based on their character. For the month of November, Caleb Shepard was chosen. After his recognition as Student of the Month, the Bulldog Beacon had some follow-up questions.
Bulldog Beacon: How does it feel to be chosen as the Rotary Club’s Student of the Month?
Caleb Shepard: I am so honored and blessed to receive this prestigious award. It is awesome to know that my hard work and dedication in my school as well as my community has not been overlooked. I am beyond grateful. I would like to thank most importantly God for his love and favor he has over my life. I would also like to thank the many role models I have in the community and my parents for pushing me to blossom into the handsome, smart and passionate individual I am today. Thank you Rotary Club. It is my honor to be November’s Student of the month.
Bulldog Beacon: What are some of your goals in life?
