Sheriff Reports a 29% Increase in Unserved Warrants During July

Marion County Sheriff David McKnight stated in a reply to a Jimplecute Texas Public Information Act request that at the end of July his department had 737 arrest warrants waiting to be served.

McKnight placed the number of felony warrants at 109 and the number of misdemeanor warrants at 628. This “includes misdemeanors A, B, C,” McKnight wrote on the reply.
