Attorney General’s Office Demands Answers from McKnight, 8th TPIA Deadline Missed This Week

The Office of the Texas Attorney General has given Marion County Sheriff David McKnight 10 days to explain why he failed to comply with a Jimplecute Texas Public Information Act request.

“Please provide a written response to this letter within 10 business days,” stated the letter from the AG’s Education and Enforcement Section of the Open Records Division.
The official communication included “a certification form” “to expedite your response.”
