JEFFERSON – The Marion County Grand Jury indicted one person in June on a charge of possession of a controlled substance penalty group one and on a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
Motions to revoke probation were filed against five individuals in June. Offenses included three burglary charges, a robbery charge and a possession of a controlled substance penalty group one charge.
In June, one person was found guilty on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and sentenced to seven years confinement.
A woman had a charge of child endangerment dismissed, but received deferred adjudication and probation on another charge of child endangerment imminent danger of bodily injury. She received a $2,500 fine and $353 in court costs.
Deferred adjudication and probation was also granted one man on a deadly conduct discharge of a firearm charge. He also received a $500 fine and $365 in court costs.
