On Tuesday, Jefferson boys had their four game winning streak snapped by Liberty-Eylau 81-67. Chrishon Hicks had a huge game, shooting 10-11 from the field and scoring 24 points. Christian Shepard scored 12, Josh Thomas 10, Kylan Thomas 8, Lyrik Rawls 5, and Kevin Pinson added 4.
On Thursday, the Bulldogs lost to Pleasant Grove 53-48 in the tournament opener in Mt. Pleasant. Jefferson led 25-24 at the half, and 36-35 after three quarters, but got out scored in the fourth quarter. Christian Shepard was the only Bulldog in double figures with 10 points, Kylan Thomas and Lyrik Rawls had 8 apiece, Chrishon Hicks had 7, Dee Black 6, Henry Hill 4, and Josh Thomas scored 3.
Jefferson falls to 5-3 on the season. Next up for the Dawgs is a tournament game with Marshall later on December 13.
