For the first time in the history of the church, Heritage Baptist Church in Jefferson is hosting a African-American evangelist. International Evangelist Adrian Burden is from North Carolina, and he travels the world sharing the Word of God, and has a special burden for Spanish speaking countries.
He is married to Tabitha Burden and they have two beautiful girls, Jasmine and Janea. The meeting starts Sunday, April 8th with services at 11 AM and 6 PM. Services Monday-Thursday, April 9-12 will be at 7 PM each night. Evangelist Burden says, “I love preaching, tech, shopping for amazing deals and I drink sweet tea like it’s going out of style! I despise raisins as much as I hate sin.”
Heritage is pastored by Seth Buckner who just celebrated his 6th anniversary as pastor, and Michael Diedrich is the associate pastor. Heritage is located on the south side of Jefferson right on Hwy 59 next door to Trico Lumber. You can learn more about Burden Ministries at Burdenministries.com.
