TAFE Students advancing to State


Jefferson High School’s members of the Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) competed in the Regional competition last week in Mt. Pleasant.  Three students will be advancing to State Competition at Sam Houston State University in February.  Jazmine Johnson advanced in Impromptu Speaking, Jasmine Bryson advanced in Education Leadership Fundamentals and Elementary Bulletin Board, and Austin Farmer advanced in Educational Leadership Fundamentals. Each student is currently on the Education and Training Career Pathway to prepare them for a future in Education as Teachers.
