Over the years, many of us have gone our separate ways, either through career changes, relocation or retirement. A group of those employees, mainly retirees have come together to plan for a reunion. Unlike many reunions which have gatherings based on their year of graduation, this one will be entirely different. It will be a reunion based on one commonality…that you were once an employee of the Jefferson Independent School District.
This fellowship, reunion, and reception for JISD employees, past and present; bring back together those who forged friendships through mutual respect for one another by touching the lives of the students who have passed through the halls, the classrooms, the lunch line, and even the dusty or muddy rural roads of Marion County. All are welcome; administrative, professionals, para-professionals, custodians, meal preparers, secretaries, clerks, technicians, bus drivers, mechanics, maintenance and any other who was EVER employed by Jefferson Independent School District.
We ask that you contact any of you past coworkers and spread the word by whatever means you stay in touch with one another.
