Gift from the Immaculate Conception Church

The Catholic Church in Jefferson, the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church is presenting a special gift for Christmas to residents in the area. “It is with great joy, that we invite you and yours to a prayerful, musical Celebration of Christmas.”

On the evening of Thursday, December 28th, at 7:00 p.m. a presentation of “Selections of Handel’s Messiah, an Oratorio by George Frederic Handed (1685 – 1759).

Leonard Kacenjar, Conductor featuring The Shreveport Festival String Quartet & Friends. Performances will be given Amy Kessler, Soprano; Tori Windham, Alto; Tommy Corley, Tenor; Juan Garza, Baritone; along with Michael Scarlato, on solo trumpet.

Admission is free and open to the public. Monetary donations are welcomed. Canned and box good for the poor are respectfully, gratefully and joyfully received.

A cake and punch reception will follow.
