COMC activities going strong

Students on the Panola College CNA Class are being instructed on providing comfort for a patient while in their room to care for them. Olyvia is also a student in the G.E.D Classes held at the facility.

A visit to the Creating Opportunities for Building Marion County gave some insight to what all has been going on at their facilities on Bonham Street over the past few months.

The Workforce Mobile Unit for employment assistance comes each Tuesday for helping those who are seeking employment from Marion County.

Luckily, the CNA (certified nursing assistant) Classes through Panola College were still in session and got an overview of the class in action. They are in hopes of having a Licensed Vocational Nurse class starting in the by next fall.

Another new class which will be beginning is a Hospitality Class which will be taught by Juanita Chitwood who has immense experience in the field.

They are continuing Computer Classes there…
