The Jefferson Livestock Association will start the second half of the 2017 Buckle Series which started on July 29, 2017 at the JLA Arena located at 18362 State Hwy 49 East, Jefferson, TX. Featured events include Lead Line, Poles, and Barrels Racing.
This is the fourth date scheduled in their series and it will be held on October 28.
Two more will follow on November 18, and end with the December 2 competition.
Events include Lead Line (assisted) for ages 9 and under, with other events for ages 9 and under unassisted, 10-14 years, 15-25 years, and 26 and older. Other events are 3D Poles, 4D Barrels, with an added Mystery Event. Some groups may be combined based on the attendance for the groups.
Exhibitions will be held from 6-7 p.m. at $4 each or 3 for $10. Playday fees (per show) are $15 with an added $5 for non-JLA members.
Riders must attend 4 of the 6 shows to qualify for Hipoint Buckles and Awards for Playday or “D” events. There will be participation awards for Leadline Riders, as there will be no point accrual.
Books open at 5:45 p.m., with the show starting at 7:00 p.m.
