‘Glitter Girls’ – cast selected and in rehearsals

Jefferson’s Opera House Theatre Players has announced casting for the upcoming World and Texas premier of “The Glitter Girls”, a comedy by Mark Dunn.

The two-act play will be presented for three performances on November 16-17 and 18 at the Jefferson Playhouse.

Cast in the lead role of Trudy is Players regular Fran Hurley. Others in the cast are Patrick Fortune as Arpege/Arnold; Penny Mann as Flossie; Angela Martinez as Corinne; Sara Davis as Valerie; Nick Martinez as Charlie; Dian Beaird as Mayvonne; Linda Schelling as Mamie; and Charles Beaird as Dowd.

The comedy revolves around Trudy, a wealthy woman and founder of The Glitter Girls Club decades ago, who believes she is going to die.
