Lyn Frantangelo, Curriculum Director played the part of a meek “new hire” learning to make meatloaf. Coach Terry Johnson, who is also the Assistant Principal at JHS was another matter, all together. He was also a new hire. His role, an ex-con who was just released from prison. He approached his job as dishwasher in an inappropriate manner; giving the students a good example of what they may run across in the workplace. He made few flirtatious moves on Frantangelo, and was steadily taking a few sips of the clear liquid (“’shine”= water) in a fruit jar; getting sillier and bolder as time went on. It was a good lesson in the types of people you sometimes have to work with, and how to handle the situation.
