What’s Up Youth Ministries will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony at 2:00 p.m. on June 16th. They are located at 6534 Hwy. 43 in Jefferson, Texas, near the Smithland Community. Entrance to the property is located just south of the livestock barn on Hwy. 43 on the west side of the highway. They will have a Retreat Bar-b-que featuring smoked turkey legs an snow-cones beginning at 11:00 a.m.
“In a community where youth are experiencing many issues such as violence, bullying, drugs and more, the “What’s Up Youth Ministries is serving youth in Jefferson and the surrounding areas,” explained Pastor Barbara Stoker, Director of What’s Up Ministries. “The ministry will provide spiritual growth and an experience of God’s Love in a new and exciting way.”
Additionally, the youth will be involved in effective solution and strategies to discuss the number of youth affected by these concerns that target our community.
