The Lake O’ the Pines Master Plan update is underway and the Corps is soliciting written input from the public, and the initial comment period ends June 14. Submit comments by June 14.

The Lake O’ the Pines Master Plan is the strategic land man­agement document that guides the comprehensive manage­ment and development of all recreational, natural, and cul­tural resources throughout the life of a Corps project.

Key topics to be addressed in the revised Master Plan include revised land classifications, new natural and recreational resource management objec­tives, recreation facility needs and special topics such as inva­sive species management. Pub­lic participation is critical to the successful revision of the Mas­ter Plan.
