WHAT WAS COOKIN’ By Sherry McAdoo

I thoroughly enjoyed our family reunion this past weekend. Family reunions are a wonderful tradition of keeping the family in touch with one and another thru the years instead of gradually drifting apart. We had many of the older generation present, the younger generation present and it blessed my heart to see so many young children. In my heart I was thinking, “We will go on.”

Of course, that are many that are no longer with us. I come from a family of wonderful cooks and I could visualize them in the past spreading their delicious dishes and sharing their recipes. Oh how I miss them. But we have great cooks today. Many of them cook and bake from these old recipes. I thank Betty Kindred for bringing me some recipes to share with all of you.

LET’S SHARE SOME RECIPES.
