TullockFuneral services for Mrs. Melba Lee Culpepper Tullock., 82, of Jefferson, Texas are 3:00 P.M. Saturday May 13, 2017, at Jefferson Academy Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Alden Ho and Pastor John Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Berea Cemetery under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home. Visitation is from 6-8 P.M. Friday evening at Haggard Funeral Home.

 
Mrs. Tullock was born May 6, 1935 in Paducah, KY. to Curtis and Georgia Lee Hood Culpepper and passed away May 9, 2017 in Marshall, Texas.

 
She was a member of the Jefferson Academy Seventh-day Adventist Church, She attended Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska, Southern Missionary College in Collegedale, TN and nursing school in Harrison Co., TX. She married Paul Tullock Feb. 13, 1955 at Jefferson Academy Church. She was a world traveler, active in her church and community, played numerous musical instruments and loved cooking for her family and collecting recipes. Mrs. Tullock loved decorating and hosting parties. She loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren, flowers and everything purple. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

 

Mrs. Tullock is survived by her children, Robert Tullock & Robin and Steven Michael Tullock & Janie, grandchildren, Ashley Carver & Kyle, Cassandra Tullock, Colton Tullock, Aaron Tullock & Heather, Cody Tullock, great grandchildren, Ciara Wright, Keilan Carver, Kallie Carver, Avery Lawson, Laylah Sanchez, Liliana Tullock, Venton Tullock, Iris Tullock.

 
Pallbearers are: Colton Tullock, Cody Tullock, Aaron Tullock, Shawn Hayes, Randy Hayes and Scott Mullen.
