WHAT WAS COOKIN’ By Sherry McAdoo

The yard sale went very well. There were a lot of people that showed up. It is always very interesting to spend a few minutes visiting with each of them and see some old friends. I admit that I sent up quite a few prayers that the weather would be good since we had been forecast for rain most of the week. But it turned out to be absolutely perfect weather – almost everyone commented on it. The only thing wrong with having the sale – you don’t get to make the rounds of others looking for a special treasure. We had some people who wanted to see our chickens and it was a pleasure to show them.
