In 1955 he bought the Dairy Queen in Jefferson where he worked until his retirement in 1985. Jack loved his family and friends and they dearly loved him. He enjoyed traveling with Huline in their motorhome, especially when it involved going to watch their son and grandchildren play any type of sport.
Huline passed away in 2009, less than a month after their 65th wedding anniversary. Jack was also preceded in death by his parents and brother, L.A. Lloyd.
