The organization Creating Opportunities in Marion County (COMC) will celebrate its first anniversary with a party, fish fry dinner and silent auction fundraiser.
The event, which takes place from 4 to 7 p.m. on April 4, is designed to “celebrate the many wonderful people who have helped us get off the ground,” according to the group.
Attendees can pay $12 for a four-piece plate, with cole slaw, fries and hush puppies. A three-piece plate with the same sides costs $10.
