WHAT WAS COOKIN’ By Sherry McAdoo

I guess Texas Pete, our state rattle snake, was right when on Ground Hog day Pete saw his shadow and said that we would have six more weeks of 70s and 80s before spring. Isn’t it wonderful to look out and see green grass peeking though, yellow daffodils blooming, fruit trees budding out and gardens being planted? My favorite time of the year is fast approaching and I am so excited.
