On Friday, February 3, Patrick Johnson of JStar Ministries visited with our Jefferson Junior High Students. His mission with JStar is to motivate kids through positivity and show them how
to be M.A.D. (Make A Difference). Mr. Johnson spoke to the kids about his past experiences and how they transformed him into the person he is today.
During the day he spoke to kids to small groups of kids from different age groups before addressing our entire student body about how the choices they make now influence the rest of their lives. One of the things he shared with the kids were the ABC’s of Life, which are the keys to success as they grow up and progress through their lives. His mission is to make a connection with kids through his ministry to be able to influence them later in life.
Mr. Johnson will be returning periodically throughout the year to check on some of the kids he spoke with during his visit. Since the visit our students have talked about how much they enjoyed his visit and look forward to the next one.
