WHAT WAS COOKIN’ By Sherry McAdoo

We have certainly had a taste of winter this week. One morning it was 15 degrees and the next morning it was 18 degrees. We had a heat lamp clamped up high and lots of hay for the chickens to bury up in. They are so funny lying their staring at the heat lamp. They have been very upset with Rodney for the last couple of days because when he went to feed them, he was out of red pepper flakes and that is always the first thing they go for when they are fed and tend to feel mistreated when they don’t get their red pepper flakes. They very loudly let Rodney know how unhappy they are with him.
