You’ll forgive the Daingerfield High Lady Tigers if they don’t send a Christmas card to Mark Allen’s Lady Bulldogs.
Jefferson’s girls followed up their season-opening home victory against Daingerfield by beating the Lady Tigers 47-33 at New Diana’s tournament, then whipped the Lady Tigers again Tuesday on their own court, 52-31, to improve their record to 5-0 on the young season. In between the second and third defeat of Daingerfield, the Lady Bulldogs posted a thrilling 54-52 victory over Hawkins and then held on against Paul Pewitt, 46-40, to win the New Diana Tourney.
