With a last minute aerial assault, the 7th Grade Bullpups stormed back to tie the White Oak Roughnecks 16-16 for the night. Josh Thomas scored the first Bullpup touchdown on a quarterback sneak up the middle and Falando Craver tacked on the 2 point conversion. Josh Thomas found Caden Rutz often during the night, and again for our 2nd touchdown late in the 4th quarter. Josh Thomas then muscled it in on the 2 point conversion to even the score with a 16-16 tie.

The 8th Grade Bullpups took care of some unfinished business with the White Oak Roughnecks from last year, and handed the hometown Roughnecks a resounding 40-24 loss. The Bullpups were fired up, aggressive, and took control of the game early when Nikao Reyes recovered a fumble in the endzone for a touchdown. Then Lyrik Rawls added two rushing touchdowns and a 2 point conversion.

Di’Muantrez Haggerty and Ty’Zavier Jones got in on the scoring act when each of them returned onside kicks for touchdowns. Dameon Warren added a 2 point conversion, while Rawls connected with Christian Shepard and Carlos Jackson on 2 point conversion attempts to round out the scoring.

The Bullpups will close out their season at home next Thursday night against theRedwater Dragons.
