WHAT WAS COOKIN’ By Sherry McAdoo

I must retract something from last week’s column. I wrote the column and sent it in on Tuesday. I made the comment that our rooster had not begun to crow. On Wednesday morning very early we heard a very weird and loud sound on the property. It sounded almost like a foghorn. When we went out to check, it turned out that it was only the rooster trying to crow. It was such a weird noise that it frightened our cat, Peanut, who hid behind us for protection.
There you have it!
