LONGVIEW, TX (Sept. 21, 2016) – Longview firefighters and community volunteers will work the catwalk on Thursday, September 29, at a fundraiser aimed to help raise awareness about breast cancer.
Good Shepherd Medical Center will hold the sixth annual Think Pink Luncheon and Fashion Show from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Center. The luncheon, emceed by KLTV weekend anchor Erika Bazaldua, and supported by Pink Heals of Gregg County, will once again feature a fashion show with the Fall’s hottest trends from Barron’s, Cavender’s, Dillard’s, Hurwitz, Morgan Abbigail, Trendy Chicks, Women’s Health Boutique and Bargain Box.
“For the past five years, Think Pink has focused on raising money specifically for the Breast Center at Good Shepherd,” said Assistant Director of Community Outreach Gina Terry. “This year, our vision is expanding to include breast cancer prevention efforts across the East Texas community.”
The luncheon will once again include a Pink Handbag Raffle for seven designer handbags including a $2,500 Celine. One lucky bag will also contain a $500 gift card while a second holds a Pandora charm bracelet.
