WHAT WAS COOKIN’ By Sherry McAdoo

We had quite a surprise. In the last Rhode Island Red ladies that we got (5), one had extremely long legs. We kept commenting on her long legs and we even named her Legs. Well she has grown even more and turned into the most beautiful rooster. We will soon be trading ‘ her’ back to the man we purchased ‘her’ from. We do not wish to disturb our wonderful neighbors with a rooster crowing at daybreak. He hasn’t started crowing yet. We don’t know how old they are when they start crowing.
