Marshall Physical Therapy to merge with East Texas Based PhyNet Health System

For 27 years, Martin Young’s Marshall Physical Therapy practice located at 908 Bomar Street in Marshall has provided Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation services to the Marshall community. Martin’s extensive expertise will spearhead the expansion of outpatient physical therapy services beyond Marshall to greater East Texas PhyNet Health System’s communities. “With high-quality therapists and care coordinators committed to sharing their knowledge and experience, our commitment is to help more patients return to a satisfying lifestyle in East Texas,” say Martin. “The expansion plan not only includes adding therapy and rehab services to multiple clinics, but will serve home-bound patients as well.”

 
PhyNet Health System consists of 9 East Texas locations, including: Longview Life Center, Jefferson Life Center, Linden Life Center, Hughes Springs Medical Center, Tall Pines Health Clinic (Lone Star, Tx.), Hugman-Kent Clinic (Gladewater, Tx.), Tatum Medical Center, Occupational Care Team (Tyler, Tx); and a new location, Kilgore Life Center acquired September 2016.

 

The Marshall location will continue to operate as it has, with the same therapist and care coordinators, but will now fly it’s banner under the PhyNet Health System flag. “PhyNet will enhance the patient experience in Marshall Physical Therapy to merge with East Texas Based PhyNet Health SystemMarshall and will provide additional care coordination and offerings in the future as we develop our service lines,” says John Ford, PhyNet CEO.

 
Martin and the multidisciplinary therapy teams will deliver professional therapies inclusive of all accident victims, specializing in head, neck injuries and lower back pain – to ergonomic assessment therapies geared for developing the skills needed for activities of day-to-day life. “Our team’s focus is to restore function, relieve pain, increase mobility and improve a physical disability to an overall healthy lifestyle. As well, we want to help people maintain and improve their overall health, not just treat acute conditions,” Martin says.
