Obituary | Charles Bornman

bornmanFuneral services for Mr. Charles Bornman, 79, of Jefferson were held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 6, 2016 in the Capt Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Markle officiating. Interment followed at Savannah Cemetery under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home.

There was a gathering o family and friends 6-8 P.M.
Monday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Bornman was born May 19, 1937 in Vivian, Louisiana
to Fred and Jessie Whatley Bornman and passed away September 3, 2016 in Longview. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Bornman was a member of the Prospect Baptist Church. He was retired from the Air Force, and was a former member of the Lions Club. He loved to travel and do woodworking but most of all he loved spending time with family and friends.

Mr. Bornman is survived by his wife Mary Bornman of Jefferson, children: Chip Bornman of Jefferson, Penny Wray & Ricky of The Colony, TX., Randy Schumaker of Golconda, IL.,
Tamy Boaz & Dennis of Simpson, IL., Candy Sirmans of Harrisburg, IL., Rhonda Winters & Robert of Golconda, IL., sisters; Wanda Ryberg & John of Seattle, WA.and Lyda Duncan & David Clark of The Colony, TX., eleven grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are: Mike Wood, Ricky Wray, David Ford, Mike Wood, Michael Hill, Chan Ford and Honorary Pallbearers, Clyde Ford, Sonny McKnight, and Frankie Stone.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society, 1301 S. Broadway Ave., Tyler, TX. 75701.
