The 18th Annual EXCEL Chevrolet – Jefferson Carnegie Library Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, May 21, at Cypress Hills Golf Course, 1126 Cypress Valley Lane, Waskom,
TX. Lunch and registration begin at noon, with shotgun teeoff at 1:00. Registration is $50/golfer, which includes a golf cart for each 4-person team, lunch, and string game.

Don’t golf? You can still support the Library by joining named sponsor EXCEL Chevrolet as a tournament sponsor. Sponsorships, which begin at $100, include recognition at the
tournament and on the Jefferson Carnegie Library Facebook page, plus a “Thank You’ in the Jefferson Jimplecute newspaper. All proceeds from the tournament benefit the Jefferson Carnegie Library.

The Library has been serving the Marion County community since 1907, when it was constructed using building funds donated by 19th-century industrialist Andrew Carnegie. Jefferson Carnegie Library was one of 1,679 new library buildings built between 1886 and 1919 with Carnegie donations totaling more than $40 million. Today, Jefferson Carnegie Library is one of only four Carnegie libraries built in Texas that is still operating as a library.

This fundraiser is the only annual event of the Friends of the Jefferson Carnegie Library that provides operating funds. We hope you can join us!

Call the Jefferson Carnegie Library at 903-665-8911 or emailcdjcl1907@hotmail.com to reserve your spot or to sign on as a sponsor.
